Here are TV news articles generated from some of the cases I was asked to provide forensic services. Some of the stories are not accurate but are very real. They are provided to show you the importance of what I do. I will be happy to explain them in my lecture/seminar on digital media.
The Santa Case
I was responsible for the clarification and courtroom presentation of video surveillance working for the defense Attorney Grim. When I was in the courtroom, I found the prosecutor presented false fabricated video files to skew the jury. The digitally challenged Judge scolded me for playing the original encrypted files decoded with the video decoder so the jury could see unaltered true video of the events that unfolded. However we were able to persevere when I explained in simple to understand terms how the prosecutor altered it in a negative way.
Genesee County Jail Beating
I was responsible for the clarification and courtroom presentation of video surveillance working for the plaintiff Attorney Kevin Ernst. My testimony helped the jury understand Kevin’s point so much so they awarded more than three times what Kevin originally asked for. $36.6 Million.
